The Acting Dean of the College of Graduate Studies at Kuwait University, Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Mukhayyal, chaired the third meeting of the College of Graduate Studies Council for the academic year 2023-2024, at the University Council meeting room in Sabah Al-Salem University City - Al-Shadadiya, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs Prof. Meshari Al-Aifan, the Acting Assistant Dean for Planning and Development Dr. Mohammed Raef Al-Samawi, and department heads from various university colleges.

Among the items discussed during the meeting and included in the agenda were the ratification of the previous meeting’s minutes and review of the follow-up schedule for implementing the previous meeting’s decisions dated November 13, 2023, discussion of a memorandum regarding summer studies regulations, and student affairs memoranda: a memorandum regarding the announcement and application requirements for the academic year 2024-2025, and a memorandum regarding determining the passing rate in the admission test for graduate studies programs.

It is worth noting that academic affairs memoranda were discussed: a memorandum regarding the amendment to the graduation sheet for the Master of Arts in History program in the Arts field, and a memorandum regarding exempting some doctoral students in Hadith and its Sciences from the procedural regulations for submitting the (AC2) form - Research Plan and Budget (Dissertation - Thesis - Project) to the College of Graduate Studies, which was approved by the esteemed College Council on February 14, 2023.
